Patricia Levy

Patricia E. Levy

Patricia Levy is a Canadian lawyer and executive learning consultant. She is a partner of the Global Executive Learning Network, a unique group of professionals that specializes in assisting multinationals and organizations in the design and delivery of executive leadership programs and strategic learning opportunities.

Since 1994, Patricia Levy has acted as a coordinator of executive development learning programs for a number of leading global companies, including: Johnson & Johnson, the Boeing Corporation, General Electric, Volvo Car Corporation, Pirelli, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Eli Lilly and Company, Baxter Healthcare and DHL.  She has an expertise in helping to bring the Outside-In perspective to companies and in working with teams of executives during business driven action learning programs and with virtual team coaching for high performance executive teams.  She has also worked with The Brookings Institution’s Center for Public Policy Education in Washington, D.C. and the International Consortium Program, and has done research with the J.M. Huber Institute for Learning in Organizations at Columbia University and Dentsu Institute.  She has written on the role of the Outside-In perspective in business driven action learning programs and has a special interest in public-private partnerships and in virtual teamwork. 

While living in Europe for five years, Patricia Levy monitored the GATT Uruguay Round negotiations for the Ontario Government and provided analyses of European economic integration and environmental affairs.  She helped establish Levy and Company, an independent legal and business advisory consulting firm which then represented multinational Swiss and North American companies in joint venture and other activities within the Czech Republic and Europe, as well as Czech municipalities in privatization projects.  She helped develop “The City of Prague Canadian Center” and then managed it for the City of Prague for ten years while building the Urban Development and Environmental Management Program within Canada and the Czech Republic.

She held legal and policy positions with the Government of Ontario prior to becoming legislative assistant to the Ontario Minister of Financial Institutions and Consumer and Commercial Relations and then senior policy advisor to the Ontario Minister of Industry, Trade and Technology.

Patricia Levy received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.   She now resides in Toronto, Canada
